Jennifer A. Rosario

Jennifer A. Rosario is the heart and vision behind Las Alondras Organization, a pioneering NGO dedicated to women's empowerment and advocacy. Originally from the Dominican Republic, Jennifer immigrated to the United States at the age of eight and has since built a lifetime of dedication to creating safe, empowering spaces for women. Her early experiences as an immigrant, along with her years of service in the U.S. Army, have given her unique insights into the challenges women face in finding security, opportunity, and respect in all areas of life. These insights became her inspiration to establish Las Alondras, a space where women are uplifted, their voices are valued, and their contributions are celebrated.

Jennifer’s commitment to women’s empowerment is rooted in both personal experience and professional accomplishment. As a member of Indiana's Advisory Committee of the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition, Jennifer has engaged with leaders and advocates, underscoring the critical role of NGOs in promoting social justice on a global scale. Through Las Alondras, she honors her grandmother’s legacy of resilience and strength, using her family’s story as a guiding light for women facing hardship. Jennifer continues to lead Las Alondras with a commitment to compassion, research-driven action, and a vision to build inclusive, supportive environments where every woman can thrive.
